The traditional Inca Trail is about 46 km of journey (4 days walking) along roads, stairs and across streams. The Inca Trail starts at Km 82 of the rail line (Cusco - Machu Picchu) at "Piskacucho". From there it leads visitors through the varied archaeological sites that are found along the route that ends at Machu Picchu.
