Machu Picchu Inca Trail

Many roads were built on ledges and are surrounded by breathtaking landscapes with lush and varied vegetation and panoramic views.

The road that was built to Machu Picchu is known today as the Inca Trail and is considered one of the most spectacular trekking routes in the world. The traditional Inca Trail is about 46 km of journey (4 days walking) along roads, stairs and across  streams. The Inca Trail starts at Km 82 of the rail line (Cusco - Machu Picchu) at "Piskacucho". From there it leads visitors through the varied archaeological sites that are found along the route that ends at Machu Picchu.
