Some offer a more complete experience than others, so we always secure the best available circuit at the time of your booking, based on real-time availability from the official Peruvian government platform (the only authorized ticket provider).

Trip itinerary

Begin your adventure with a spectacular journey through the Andes on Day 1 of our Machu Picchu by Car Tour.

We start early at 6:30 am from our office in Cusco, heading out on a scenic drive of approximately 5–6 hours toward Hidroelectrica. Along the way, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of mountains, valleys, and changing landscapes as we descend into a more tropical environment.

Upon arrival at Hidroelectrica, you’ll enjoy a delicious local lunch, the perfect way to recharge before continuing your journey.

After lunch, the adventure continues with a beautiful 3-hour hike (11 km) along mostly flat terrain, following the railway line toward Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.

This relaxing walk offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the lush surroundings, with warm, tropical weather and stunning natural scenery along the way.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will take you to your hotel so you can rest and freshen up. In the evening, enjoy a tasty dinner in town while preparing for the highlight of your journey—the visit to Machu Picchu the next day.
