What our travellers say

A few of the most recent reviews from our happy adventurers, fresh from the trail.

The Salkantay trek with Machu Picchu Trip Guide was the highlight of our year. Carlos and his crew made the high-altitude crossings feel safe and even fun, and the food at camp was honestly better than most restaurants in town. Highly recommended.

Booked the classic Inca Trail for our anniversary and the team designed it perfectly around our pace. Porters were treated with respect (which mattered to us), the gear was first class, and reaching Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate at dawn — unforgettable.

As a solo female traveller I felt safe and welcomed every single day. The team checked in with me constantly without ever being intrusive, and the small group size meant I made friends I'm still travelling with. Already planning Ausangate for next year.

We travelled as a family of five with two teenagers and one (very picky) ten-year-old. The custom itinerary kept everyone engaged — gentle Sacred Valley hikes, hands-on cooking class, and a brilliant guide who actually liked kids. Worth every dollar.
